Experience

Sarah is a Brisbane-based Clinical Psychologist and PsyBA Board-approved Supervisor with over a decade of experience supporting children, young people, families, educators, and professional teams.

Sarah provides evidence-informed and neurodiversity-affirming therapy, diagnostic assessment, consultation, and practical support for young people and their families. Her approach is warm, collaborative, thoughtful, and practical, with a strong focus on helping young people feel understood, supported, and more confident in everyday life.

Sarah draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy approaches, ACT-informed approaches for Autistic and ADHD young people, Family Systems Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Play & Narrative Therapy approaches, trauma-informed practice, and nervous system regulation.

Her work is grounded in respect for each young person’s development, nervous system, strengths, interests, relationships, and support needs. Sarah works closely with parents, carers, schools, allied health professionals, and support teams to create consistent, compassionate, and useful support around each child or young person.

Where clinically appropriate, Sarah uses creative and engaging approaches, including telehealth, digital tools, play-based strategies, outdoor therapeutic spaces, movement-based settings, and interest-led learning to support engagement, emotional regulation, confidence, and real-world growth.

Sarah is committed to ongoing reflective practice and actively seeks supervision, consultation, and professional development with leading professionals to remain current and informed in approaches that may support her clients. She is registered with AHPRA and the Psychology Board of Australia and is connected with professional and research communities focused on child development, autism, neurodiversity, wellbeing, and inclusive practice.
