Experience

Rachel completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and Master of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. Rachel aims to create a warm, supportive, and person-centred space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered.

Rachel works collaboratively with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has experience across community and hospital settings, supporting a broad range of psychological concerns. Rachel’s practice is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and evidence-based, drawing primarily on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), while integrating strengths-based and attachment-informed perspectives.

Rachel can provide evidence-based support in areas such as:

• Anxiety, phobias, and panic

• Depression and mood concerns

• Building self-esteem and self-confidence

• Navigating social and interpersonal difficulties

• Emotion regulation

• Behavioural challenges

• Supporting ADHD management

• Parenting support

• Cognitive and learning difficulties

Rachel is joining our team from March 2026 and will work at our Mount Gravatt East clinic on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
