Experience
Louise is a clinical psychologist with 18 years of experience in working with neurodivergent individuals. She has completed training in the ADOS and MIGDAS and spent many years conducting diagnostic assessments for children and young people to assist with exploring their unique neurotypes.
Prior to opening Brighter Futures, Louise worked for seven years with neurodivergent individuals at the Minds and Hearts clinic and was mentored and supervised by Professor Tony Attwood and Dr Michelle Garnett. She has presented numerous presentations at conferences, workshops and information nights over the years and has also written a number of group programs aimed at increasing emotional awareness and management, enhancing self-esteem and self-concept and improving social understanding.
Louise is not currently seeing clients at the clinic. She is busy running the practice as well as looking after her school aged son. Louise works closely with each of her clinicians and admin team members to provide supervision and support. She is so proud of each member of the team at Brighter Futures and the individual strengths they bring to the practice. Brighter Futures has steadily grown since opening in 2014 and Louise thoroughly enjoys working with each member of her team.
