Experience

Tamara is a registered Psychologist who is nearing the end of her Educational and Developmental Psychology registrar program. She has over 15 years of experience as a psychologist and has worked in private practice and educational settings. Tamara has a particular interest in the assessment of neurodivergence, giftedness and twice-exceptionality (2e). She draws upon her expertise as a former gifted education teacher, inclusion teacher, and her proficiency in educational and developmental psychology to explore diverse learner profiles. Her diagnostic assessments explain individual presentations, identify areas for capacity building and therapeutic intervention, and recommend responsive learning and support strategies.   

With a commitment to providing a respectful and affirming approach, Tamara provides a highly personalised assessment experience. Her reports are comprehensive, practical, and tailored to the unique needs of each client, offering clear insights and actionable recommendations. With a background spanning school-based guidance, inclusion and gifted education specialist teaching as well as private psychology practice, Tamara ensures her approach is contemporary, holistic, evidence based and grounded in best practice.
